Laerskool Ellisras se NASKOOL sentrum is gelee op die skoolterrein.
Hier kan kinders ‘n gesonde middagete geniet.
Buitemuurse aktiwiteite is op skoolgronde, dus word geen strate oorgesteek nie.
Skool – en Naskoolpersoneel werk as span saam om te verseker dat u kind se huiswerk korrek gedoen word. Huiswerk word gedoen vanaf 14:30 tot 16:00.
(Indien u kind se buitemuurse aktiweite tot na 16:00 aanhou, moet u as ouer opvolg of u kind se huiswerk wel gedoen is)
Kinders word in graad verband ingedeel in lokale by die skool waar hulle onder toesig van ‘n onderwyser/es hulle huiswerk doen.
Naskool is Maandag tot Vrydag oop vanaf 14:00 – 17:30
( Naskool is gesluit gedurende Oktober en Desember vakansies, asook publieke vakansiedae.)
Naskool is gedurende vakansies oop vanaf 07:00-17:00 of soos deur hoof bepaal.
Snoepie is direk na skool vir ‘n beperkte tyd beskikbaar.
Vrydae middae word geswem – met die toesig van ‘n onderwyser (indien die weer dit toelaat).
After Care
Laerskool Ellisras’s AFTER CARE center is conveniently located on the school grounds.
Here, learners can enjoy a delicious lunch after school.
All extra curricular activities are also on the school grounds, which means that after care learners do not have to cross any streets during the afternoon.
School and after care staff members work together as a team to ensure that your child’s homework is done correctly. Homework is done between 14:30 and 16:00.
(In case your child’s activities only finish after 16:00, it will be your responsibility to check that the work is completed.)
Children are divided into groups according to age/grade and each group has its own space to do homework under the supervision of a teacher or after care staff member.
After care is open on Mondays to Fridays from 14:00 – 17:30
(After care is closed during October and December school holidays and public holidays.)
After care is only open during school holidays (from 07:00 – 17:00) on dates determined by the principal of the school.
The tuck shop is open for about 15 minutes after school, specifically for the after care children.
On Friday afternoons the after care learners are sometimes allowed to use the pool, with supervision – if the weather allows it.
