Laerskool Ellisras bied leerders die geleentheid om al hulle passies uit te leef en te bevorder. Ons skool spog met ‘n Kultuurdepartement uit die boonste rakke wat bestuur word deur afrigters wat elke jaar regkry om net die beste uit elke leerder te ontgin.
Elke kultuuraktiwiteit bied geleenthede vir groei – nie net op persoonlike vlak nie, maar ook vir die indiwidu binne die groter groep. Waar beter ontdek jy (in ‘n veilige omgewing) jou selfvertoue om voor groot gehore op te tree as op ‘n verhoog besig om koor te sing of revue te doen.
Ons skool bied verskeie kultuur aktiwiteite aan waaronder redenaars, koor, revue, tradisionele danse, gumboot danse, public speech en elke derde jaar se massa konsert, maar net die begin is.
Onder die ferm (en ritmies ingestelde) kultuurhand van me. Retha Grobler kan ons nie anders as om altyd kop en skouers bo die ander deelnemers uit te staan en almal te wys waar ons Rassies die wortels gegrawe het nie.
Culture
Laerskool Ellisras offers each learner a chance to live out and improve their passions. Our school has a wonderful Culture department, driven by coaches that are able to help each child achieve their absolute best possible level of performance.
Every culture activity offers opportunities for growth – not only on a personal level, but also for the individual inside of the larger group. What better (and safer) place to discover your self confidence than performing in front of a large crowd when singing choir or dancing in the revue.
Laerskool Ellisras takes part in various types of cultural activities of which orators, choir, revue, cultural dances, gumboot dances, public speech and every third year’s mass concert is only the beginning.
Under the firm (but rhythmic) hand of mrs. Retha Grobler, there is no other option than standing out head and shoulders above the rest of the participants and always showing them exactly what the Rassies are made of.
