Koshuis

Laerskool Ellisras se koshuis bied huisvesting vir 24 seuns en 24 dogters vanaf graad 1-7.

Dit is waar ons ‘n tuiste skep vir elke kind sodat hy/sy geestelik, emosioneel, sosiaal en fisies ten volle kan ontwikkel, en sodoende hul skeppingdoel kan bereik. Ons koshuis is reeds vir baie jare ‘n veilige tuiste vir leerders wat ver van die skool woon of vervoerprobleme ondervind. Christelike waardes word ook bevorder in die deeglike opvoeding van ons leerders. Die koshuis is ‘n verlengstuk van die ouerhuis.

‘n Goed gebalanseerde spyskaart sorg dat heerlike etes voorberei word deur bekwame matrone.

Ons leerders kry voldoende tyd om te studeer. Namiddae is tyd ingeruim vir ontspanning bv. sosiale swem en speletjies.

  • Hostel

Laerskool Ellisras’s hostel provides housing for 24 boys and 24 girls between Grades 1 and 7.

This is where we create a home for every child so he/she will be able to develop spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically, until they reach their full potential. Our hostel has been a safe haven for learners who live far from school or struggle with transport problems, for many years now. Christian values set the undertone for what we teach the learners here. We strive towards the hostel being an extension of the learner’s homes.

A healthy, balanced menu is followed, with food prepared by a fully capable matron.

Our learners always have enough time to study. In the late afternoons time is created for relaxation activities such as swimming and games.
